This workshop will cover what you need to know to work in a studio or live concert setup. It will cover the types of gear involved (mixer, sound card, microphones, speakers), the different types of audio cables, and various issues and concepts that you should know about when recording, amplifying, or working with electronics. Do you have a synth and have wondered how to record its output? Maybe you want to learn more about microphones or recording setups. Have you been wanting to know the names of all those cables, and the differences between them? Or how to connect all your devices and instruments in a logical way for your workflow, music-writing process, or live show? Learn the essentials, and bring in your individual questions too.
