There’s no better way to get your feet wet in sound circuit design than with the wonderful 74C14 CMOS Hex Schmitt trigger. We’ll breadboard oscillators that can be controlled with potentiometers, light sensors, electrodes on your skin, a drawing on paper, even fruits and vegetables. By the end of the day you can solder up your favorite design to take home and dazzle your roommates.
Taught by Nicolas Collins, the author of Handmade Electronic Music – The Art of Hardware Hacking.
