In this workshop we are building a low noise, omnidirectional microphone with standard 48V phantom power. It can be reproduced very easy for stereo recordings or even multiple microphone setups as it has the lowest part count possible for a fully working phantom powered microphone.
By building this microphone we also learn how phantom power works and how microphones are best connected with mixers and audio recorders. There will be soldering in this workshop. If you’ve never soldered before, you can first attend the Soldering for Beginners workshop, or just learn from Klaus during this workshop.
Note: Please let us know if you can’t make it max. 24 hours before the workshop, otherwise, we can’t reimburse you.
